Performing Arts Companion Care Program

The Career Center is excited to announce that we will be launching our second Companion Care program in October! The program's mission is to provide you with an introduction to the healthcare field & a career path towards meaningful secondary work.

The program will be broken down into three steps. Please read through the steps & prerequisites thoroughly prior to registering:

Step 1: Information Session | October 16th 2:00PM - 4:00PM

In this session, you will receive a general overview of what "Companion Care" means. We will review the clients you can expect to work with, responsibilities, and career paths to pursue.

All participants who attend and complete the Information Session will be sent an application to complete in order to advance to step 2.

Note, if you are no longer interested in companion care work after the information session you are not obligated to fill out the application.

Application deadline: October 18th5:00PM

Step 2: Interviews | October 23rd 2:00PM - 5:00PM

Participants who successfully complete the application will be invited to interview between the hours of 2:00PM - 5:00PM.

Keep in mind that this is a competitive program & only qualified candidates will be invited to the final step of the program.

Step 3: Training | Date & Time TBD

There will be a two-hour Companion Care education session facilitated by companion care professionals. You will also have the opportunity to be registered with a companion care agency that will assist you with finding employment in this field.

Prerequisite

• Must have attended orientation within the last 12 months.
